COMPETITION SEASON
DURING OUR COMPETITION SEASON WE LIKE TO PREPARE OUR DANCERS AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR COMPETITION BY GIVING THEM THE CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN MANY TEAM BUIDING ACTIVITIES, TO PREPARE THEM TO WORK TOGETHER ON THE BIG STAGE. OUR DANCERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WILL BE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN COMPANY TEAM PARTIES, SCAVENGER HUNTS, STUDIO PARTIES, BACKYARD BBQS, PARK GAMES, AND SO MANY MORE FUN ACTIVITIES TO BECOME AQUANTED WITH ONE ANOTHER, PREPARE OUR DANCERS AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR COMPEITIION, AND LEARN TO WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM.
Competition Company Policy
Additional Information
At each Competition-sponsored event, your dancer will have the amazing opportunity to perform the numbers choreographed, on the big stage, for judges, large crowds, and other studios.
At each Competition your dancer will gain the opportunity to place, win awards, receive major/overall awards, cash prizes, and work with professional choreographers to learn new dance styles, skills, and advance existing talents.
Furthermore, Competition is a great way to learn and develop new skills, show off your talents, and show the judges what you’ve got!
Every Competition has a specified set of rules that must be followed! All of those who fail to comply with said rules will be asked to leave the competition, or dismissed from the competition team.
The rules go as followed:
All Dancers, parents/guardians ,teachers, choreographers, and directors must adhere to the guidelines, rules and regulations of each competition.
All individuals attending the Competitions, dancers, parents/guardians, teachers, choreographers, and directors must conduct themselves in a professional manor as they are there to represent the studio.
All individuals attending the competition in representation of the studio, will remain civil, kind, and supportive towards all other studios and performers attending the Competitions.
Remember parents and dancers, whatever the judges say goes! All results of a competition are final.
It will be expected, from all individuals attending the competition, that competition fees, costume fees, etc.. will be turned in at a timely manner, to guarantee entry for the Competitions.
It will be expected that you stay with your big/little sister, (your assigned studio buddy) or a parent/guardian, or teacher from our studio, to avoid separation, or becoming lost! Please make sure your dancer is with you or a studio representative at all times!
It will be asked by all and every Competition attended, that there will be no flash photography, or flash videos taken at anytime as it will disrupt the competition. Professional photos, and videos will be taken and may be purchased at the Competition.
Complimentary photos may be provided by the Competition attended.
It will also be asked that NO FOOD OR DRINKS be allowed in the Competition auditoriums under any circumstances, with the exception of the judges, and competition staff.
In addition, there will be no tolerance for bullying, vulgar or inappropriate language, inappropriate behavior such as: the above, as well as causing scenes of unnecessary drama, speaking to others unkindly, gossip, or derogatory discussions at any point during the competition.
Those who fail to comply with these rules and regulations will be asked to leave the competition, and will be at risk of being dismissed from the competition team.
