meet Lindi

VIRTUAL INSTRUCTOR

Lindi is a certified Dance Instructor with 19 years of teaching experience. She has taught thousands of

students across the United States and Europe with a focus on classical Ballet (R.A.D. and Cecchetti methods)

and Musical Theater. Miss Lindi grew up on the stage with her first performance in theater at age 3. She began

her formal dance training at age 8 and eventually went on to train with both the Kansas City Ballet School

under the direction of Mr. Devon Carney, and for a short period of time, the St. Louis Ballet School under the

direction of Mr. Gen Horiuchi. Miss Lindi has studied many styles of dance focusing mainly on Ballet, Musical

Theater, Stylized Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary & Tap. As well as extensive research on kinesiology (the

scientific study of movement and body mechanics) Lindi was the owner and creative director for both Stage

Crew Performing Arts Center in Gallatin & Midwest Dance Synergy of Trenton Missouri for 17 years, during

which time she was also blessed to choreograph for multiple theater programs and drama departments across

the Midwest and the South. 2015-2018 she joined the Drama program for the Department of Defense

Education Activity-Naples Italy, as director of choreography. Overseeing such shows as Shrek the Musical and

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. As well as Charles Dickens classic; A Christmas Carol. Lindi currently

lives on the east coast where she is employed as the Director of the Young Children’s Program for Danceland

2 in Chesapeake Virginia. A choreographer/instructor for Moonlight Dance Studio in Virginia Beach, Virginia

And as an instructor/choreographer for the children’s program with the Todd Rosenlieb Dance Company,

Coastal Virginia’s only professional modern company. She has been associated with Dance Masters of

America, Dance Educators of America, and the Youth Protection Advocates in Dance. In April 2019 Miss Lindi

added Progressing Ballet Technique to her list of certifications.

This season Miss Lindi will be virtually instructing our advanced Ballet/Jazz classes alongside Miss Kara.
